This is how Brønnøy Kalk wants to simplify and improve the everyday lives of its employees

Brønnøy Kalk took an important step towards a more digital and simplified everyday life in 2023 when they entered into an agreement with 4human to implement the HRM solution 4human HRM and the quality management system 4human TQM Enterprise. This collaboration marks the start of a transformation that embraces both HR processes and quality management, and was a response to complex processes on competence, performance appraisals, personnel follow-up, and documentation challenges to improve the company's efforts for quality, compliance, and efficiency.

About Brønnøy Kalk

When you flip through the pages of a magazine, it is likely that you are holding paper made with lime from Velfjord in your hands. Brønnøy Kalk AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Norsk Mineral Group, is a leading supplier of lime to Omya Hustadmarmor AS.

The challenges

Brønnøy Kalk wanted to manage HR processes more efficiently, with better control, and to avoid paperwork going between offices to modernize and simplify the everyday lives of employees.

With a lot of manual work involved, it has been challenging to keep simplified processes on staff follow-up and conducting appraisals to guide employees through their professional development and competence building.

"With us, the vast majority of employees work outdoors and are dependent on coming in to the administration or contacting their immediate manager to get information about policies and procedures that are here in paper form. We wanted to improve this"
Raymond Langfjord, General Manager
Brønnøy Lime
