What is onboarding?

Onboarding of new employees is important. An onboarding process is a series of activities a new employee goes through to get to know the company and become productive in their new workplace. Preboarding and onboarding of new employees - how to proceed?

After contract negotiations, digital employment contracts can be generated in 4human's HR system. Once the employment contract is signed by both parties, an onboarding program can be assigned to the new employee. Typically, it can take one to three months before a new employee has their first day at work. We define this period as the preboarding phase. Once the contract is signed, you can give the new employee access to the system. They can take courses and quizzes, see who works in the various departments, as well as read the staff handbook/HSE manual and any other procedures the company has. In this way, companies can make new employees productive more quickly. Managers also have the opportunity to focus more on the social aspect of onboarding.
