What is LMS?

LMS is an abbreviation for Learning Management System. E-learning is an abbreviation for electronic learning and is characterized by the fact that it is done online or digitally.

Who needs LMS?

Anyone who wants to work strategically and effectively with skills development should have e-learning as part of their skills plan. Today's trend of working from home makes it essential for many businesses. This saves the company and the employee from travel, lost working hours and costs.

LMS in practice

Like any learning program, it should be customized to the individual employee. A well-designed course portal gives you the flexibility to customize learning programs as needed. Of course, the courses can be reused and help streamline the continuous training that should take place in your organization. E-learning and microlearning should be used early in the onboarding process. Research shows that new employees are more receptive to learning new things early in the employment relationship, when motivation is relatively high. It's a great way to introduce the new employee to the organization and its culture. Generation Y tends to want to work for companies that have a digital strategy. By using e-learning, you show that your company is also keeping up with the digital race. E-learning is perceived as more entertaining than the traditional course for many. The Allied Workforce Mobility Survey indicates that turnover is extremely high in the first 12 months of employment. By using fun and modern e-learning, you can reduce the turnover rate in your company.

E-learning courses for new employees

New employees go through a lot of training before their probationary period is over. Why not start introducing them to their new workplace before their first day on the job? Courses and quizzes can easily be inserted as part of 4human's pre- and onboarding program.

Take e-learning courses right from your mobile

You can easily set up e-learning courses in the cloud solution. This makes it possible for managers to prepare new course material, regardless of whether they are sitting in the cabin or on the bus. Feel free to insert these courses into the various learning programs, and pre- and onboarding programs. All courses can easily be taken from any device, wherever it suits the employee best. Whether it's from the mobile phone or the laptop in the lap in the evening.
