Boost your everyday life with data-driven insights using HR analytics
Are you tired of being a data hunter in the jungle of different systems to put together manual reports? Do you lack insights from your HR data to make good decisions? Working in a data-driven and insight-based way is becoming increasingly important in HR. We at 4human would like to inform you about our new HR analytics module in 4human HRM V8 that our existing customers can easily activate.
Investing hours in reports, only to realize that the data is unreliable is very frustrating. In the HR analytics module built on Power BI, the various dashboards provide a visual representation of reports and key figures from your business. Here, companies can select by year, quarter, positions, and the desired part of the organization. You can easily compare current statistics with previous years. This gives HR a strategic position in the business by showing current status, trends and challenges in the future.
Our advanced HR analytics gives you the tools you need to extract insights from your HR data and take your HR strategy to the next level.
With the HR analytics module in 4human HRM, you can easily get an overview and insight into examples:
- Onboarding
- Offboarding
- Sick leave statistics
- Absence statistics
- Overview for managers
- Employee overview
- Expertise
- Learning
- Employee appraisal
- Gender distribution
- Salary and seniority
- Trends
- Turnover - general in company, per unit and per month
The most critical area of HR analytics is in both operational and analytical reports. The difference between these two reports is as follows:
- Operational reports are based on real-time data - data stored in the operational, SQL database.
- Analytical reports are based on data stored in the data warehouse, which means that analytical reports are not real-time data. This is necessary due to the complexity of analytical reports and the amount of data they process, analyze and present.
Why use 4human's HR analytics module?
The HR analytics module is based on Power BI and runs embedded in the system as separate dashboards. Each dashboard represents a module in your HR system, including Employee, Skills, Learning, Conversations and Onboarding. These dashboards allow you to dive into the data, explore trends and make informed decisions for your HR strategy.
In addition, the solution offers the following benefits:
- Dashboard and widgets can be printed or saved as PDF for easy sharing and reference.
- Drill-down on the data allows you to explore the details behind the numbers for deeper insights.
- Data is updated once a day to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Dashboards include Offboarding and Absence (for customers running absence in 4human HRM V8), Salary information, separate dashboard for GAP (competence) and more.
- Improvements are rolled out on an ongoing basis to ensure you always have access to the latest features and performance upgrades.
- Exporting tabular data to data sheets is possible with customization, giving you the opportunity to perform your own queries with a separate license.

The following applies to all dashboards:
- Selected filters: A panel is added to all dashboards showing all filters that are currently selected and affect the Dashboard.
- Compare periods: For each Dashboard, there is a detailed overview to compare datasets between periods.
- Access is defined for each user based on their role in the organization and access to source data. Each manager will have access to the same dataset that they can otherwise see in V8.
- Most dashboards (except for Payroll and Manager) come with a "detail view". This is a list of records used in the analysis. Can be opened either to see the whole dataset or by drilling down - showing what contributes to specific data series.
- Drill down on your HR data. These built-in Power BI features allow you to explore the dataset in greater detail, e.g. by checking each level of the organizational structure, focusing on a single department, or detailing the time frame.
