An appraisal is a type of tool to give employees the best conditions to reach their full potential. The purpose of this dialog is to ensure that tasks and skills match. As well as clarifying expectations and goals, facilitating learning and development for each employee.

4. Ask for feedback: Ask your manager for their point of view on your work performance, and what you can do to improve. Also ask for advice on how you can develop further and what is important to the organization.

5. Create a development plan: Together with your manager, make a plan for how you can develop further and reach your career goals. Set realistic goals and plan what you need to do to reach them. This will give you a clear direction and help you focus on what is important for your development in the organization.
