A simpler 4human HRM , with the familiar intact
We're cleaning up and improving the user experience, making it easier to see what's important here and now and find what you need. The new dashboard is the first step in this evolution.
An HR system should do more than store information. It should help employees, managers and HR do the right task at the right time, provide a good basis for decisions and make follow-up throughout the entire employee journey structured and documentable.
Therefore, we are now further developing the user interface in 4human HRM The goal is not to change the solution for the sake of change. The goal is to make it simpler, clearer, and more coherent, while still being recognizable to users.
The new dashboard is the first step
The dashboard is a natural place to start. It is where many users encounter the solution, find tasks, and access the information that is relevant to their daily work. 4human HRM already has dashboard functions for tasks, overviews, learning programs and news, among other things. For managers, there are also overviews of HR tasks that need to be followed up.
In version 20.59, we're introducing new elements to your personal dashboard. These will make it easier to find frequently used actions, see relevant profile information, and get a better overview of what needs attention.
Here you will see that the expression has been softened, with rounded edges and details that make it easier to read and find the information that is important to the individual user.
There will also be more options to choose what you want to see on this dashboard and how you want it presented in future versions.
The new expression also provides a first taste of the direction for the rest of the solution.
This will make your workday easier.
We have listened to feedback from those of you who use the solution, and reviewed 4human HRM to find out where we can make the user experience clearer, simpler and more efficient. The work is focused on three areas:
- More consistency: You should experience that similar features look and function the same across pages and modules.
- Easier workflow: You'll spend less time searching, navigating, and completing unnecessary steps.
- A clearer and more modern expression: Information, actions and statuses should be easier to understand and use.
This means, among other things, that we are working on more uniform sorting, filtering, tables, and navigation. We also want to provide clearer confirmations when you have performed an action, make it easier to understand what needs to be filled out, and create more direct paths to the information you need.
Some of the changes are small individually.
Together, they will make the solution more predictable, easier to learn, and more efficient to use, while still being familiar to you.
The people and tasks at the center
A better user interface is not just about how the solution looks. It is primarily about how the work is supported.
We want that 4human HRM will make it easier to:
- see what requires attention
- perform the right task at the right time
- find relevant information faster
- follow up employees and processes in a structured way
- use HR data as a basis for good decisions
The solution already supports work processes within, among other things, onboarding, competence, performance reviews, absence and sick leave follow-up.
The further development of the interface aims to make this functionality easier to find and use.
The improvements come gradually
This is the start of a long-term improvement effort. Some of the focus areas are addressed in version 20.59, while other improvements are planned for future versions.
The image below shows how the solution will soon appear with a softer expression where the information and content come into greater focus.
The changes are being introduced gradually. This means that users will encounter a clearer and more modern look, but will still find the core functions and work processes they already know.
The ambition is simple: less time spent finding your way, and more time for the people, tasks and decisions that matter most.
