Supplier follow-up

According to ISO 9001, you must control and evaluate your suppliers. Whether your suppliers are delivering goods or services, they need to know what requirements you set for what is to be delivered and the accompanying documentation, which you can then pass on to your customers. This may also apply to the testing of products before delivery to your business. Either way, you must have control and documentation of this, which in turn makes your business a safe supplier to your customers.

In the Manage management system, you register each supplier, what they are a supplier of, what certifications they have and their status: i.e. are they a supplier, former supplier or under assessment. You then carry out periodic evaluations or delivery/project type evaluations. In this way, you build up a good history of the development of this supplier and how it has been followed up.
