The EU Pay Transparency Directive is changing the landscape! Are you ready for it?
The EU Pay Transparency Directive will truly change the landscape of payroll and challenge the current payroll processes for all organizations, regardless of size. With Sysarb, 4human has a platform and a team of experts that can help customers make this transition, adapt and help businesses gain an edge over their competitors in their industries.
The new EU Pay Transparency Directive was voted through by a majority in the EU on March 30, 2023. The directive is a significant step forward in closing the EU's gender pay gap and encompasses almost all regulatory trends at global level in the area of equal pay. One of the most important parts of the directive is to give employees the right to information about whether they are treated equally or not with their colleagues in the same group/company, as well as tools to claim the right to equal pay. Each member state now has three years to implement the directive and national laws, with a final deadline of June 2026.
Today's job market assesses potential career opportunities based on how employers act, not just what they say. Fairness, diversity and equality are no longer just buzzwords, but something that employees hold their employers accountable for, and that 4human and Sysarb help them achieve.
Everyone working in HR, and all managers, will be affected by this in the years to come. Putting plans in place to ensure a seamless transition is key. Those who proactively engage and rise to the challenge will be best positioned.
