HR annual wheel: Checklist for the annual HR cycle

Effectively managing a modern HR department requires thorough planning and a systematic approach.   1. Planning and execution of key HR activities throughout the year, including appraisals, competence development, recruitment and onboarding, salary audits and monthly reporting.

Ensuring and complying with statutory obligations such as annual reporting of data related to the activity and reporting obligation (ARP) to counteract discrimination in the workplace, and reporting of ESG data from the 2024 financial year onwards, which applies to public interest entities and groups with over 500 employees.

     

  3. Managing ad hoc activities such as conflict resolution, offboarding and policy updates to ensure efficient operations and employee satisfaction.
